Who we are
HabitWizz is made by Bemate s.r.o. (“we”, “us”), a company registered in the Czech Republic (IČO: 23990201 · DIČ: CZ23990201), Chodská 598, 541 01 Trutnov. Contact: hey@bemate.studio.
The short version
- Your habit history and settings stay on your device by default.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not run advertising trackers in the app.
- Optional sync uses your own private Apple iCloud account.
- Apple Health access is optional and controlled by you in iOS settings.
What HabitWizz stores on your device
When you use HabitWizz, the app stores information needed for habit tracking locally on your iPhone or iPad. This may include:
- Habits you create (names, goals, schedules, themes)
- Completions, progress amounts, streaks, and rest days
- Insights preferences and in-app settings
- Optional Daily Reflect notes you write
This data is not uploaded to Bemate servers. You can delete habits or remove the app to clear local data.
Accounts
HabitWizz does not require an account. You can use the app fully offline with everything stored on your device.
If you choose optional iCloud sync, Apple Sign in / your Apple ID may be used by Apple to enable sync. That relationship is between you and Apple under Apple’s privacy terms.
iCloud sync (optional)
If you turn on sync, HabitWizz may store your habit data in your private iCloud so it can stay in step across your Apple devices. Bemate does not operate a separate HabitWizz cloud account for your habits, and we do not access the contents of your iCloud habit data.
You can turn sync off in the app or manage iCloud storage in your Apple device settings.
Apple Health (optional, Pro)
With HabitWizz Pro, you may allow HabitWizz to read or write certain Health categories (for example water, active energy, mindful minutes, or workout-related activity) so habits can update automatically. Health access is:
- Optional — you choose what to allow
- Controlled in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health
- Not shared with Bemate servers
Health data stays under Apple’s Health framework on your device unless you separately share it elsewhere through Apple.
Purchases and App Store
If you buy HabitWizz Pro (monthly, yearly, or lifetime), payment is handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive limited purchase / entitlement information needed to unlock Pro features (for example, whether a subscription is active). We do not receive your full payment card details.
Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
This website
The HabitWizz website (habitwizz.app) is a marketing site. It may use standard hosting logs (for example IP address, browser type, and pages visited) from our hosting provider for security and reliability. We do not use advertising cookies or sell website visitor data.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use your habit content for advertising.
- We do not require social login or a HabitWizz account for core use.
Children
HabitWizz is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided personal data to us through this website, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, and to object to processing or request portability where applicable.
Because most HabitWizz habit data stays on your device (or in your iCloud), the fastest controls are usually on the device: edit or delete habits in the app, revoke Health permissions in iOS Settings, turn off iCloud sync, or delete the app.

International users
Bemate s.r.o. is based in the Czech Republic (EU). If you use HabitWizz or this website from another country, any limited data processed through hosting or email may be handled in the EU or by providers that support appropriate safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or website changes. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of HabitWizz or the website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
